Anne Phung Nguyen
My name is Anne Phung Nguyen and I am a Vietnamese American entrepreneur residing in beautiful Orange County California with my wonderful fianc JP and extremely happy Dad Henry. The majority of people know me through my Instagram @annephung. I record my personal life: the highs, the lows and everything inbetween. I came to America with my brother and parents in 1990 when I was one and a half years young. I'm not living my life and sharing it with you if it weren't since my parents were devoted to hard work and sacrifice. My parents were my inspiration and I worked to be successful. My plan of life was as follows: I'd attend university, find an employment in a company, marry and buy a home. My plan for success was to go to college to graduate, then get a corporate job. I would then marry then buy a house, and then have children. But life had different plans. 2013 was the year I realized the job I was in didn't feel like a good fit for me. Although the salary and the status was great but I did not feel that it was fulfilling. Instead I felt that I was doing nothing but wasting time. The passion I have for fitness as well as my passion for socializing with people helped me pursue a new career as an instructor. My business was founded in 2014. I am celebrating my seventh anniversary in this calendar year. Within this industry it is not a lot of Asian females. My goal in this industry is to build a more healthy and sustainable life style that is in line with the desires of my clients. Additionally, I'm committed to supporting others so that they can achieve the goals they set, pursue their passions and live the life of your dreams. While my career was taking flight and I was advancing, my mom passed away. This loss is the most devastating of them all. She won her eight-year battle with the disease. She is now resting in Heaven, and I remain close to her in my heart. Life really does have a way with giving us the exact thing we require even when we're unable to see the lesson at the time. There are many ways that the loss of my mother has changed my life. It is my belief that she provided me with another chance to be a part of her story after she passed away. The day she died in the year of Tet/Lunar New Year Day was her opportunity to start a new life. To me, it was a second chance for me to live a fulfilling life. In my 30's I'm alive and alert. I truly feel like I'm living my life today instead of merely surviving as I was in my past. My goal in the story I am sharing is to inform you that, you are not the only one. I hope that you believe that love is real and that a therapy session can be normal. Health is your most valuable asset. My hope is that you live your the life you want to live and have your death be without regrets, as that's the only thing we can count on for the rest of our lives.
